Huby & Weeton Pre-school
Huby and Weeton Pre-school is a registered charity, owned and managed by a committee made up of the parents of children in our care. We abide by a legally binding constitution as a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, North Yorkshire Early Years Partnership and follow OFSTED's guidelines.
We have no official catchment area and welcome children to the group from the centre of Harrogate. Based in Almscliffe Hall Huby, we aim to make pre-school accessible in our local area, recognising the importance of parental involvement and we are proud of the reputation that we have gained over the last thirty years. This reputation has been further strengthened by our OFSTED inspection in September 2007. |  |

Huby and Weeton Pre-school are very fortunate to have a qualified and motivated team. Each staff member has had years of experience working with pre-school children. We recognise that enthusiasm, a sense of humour and a genuine love of children is essential for any early years practitioner. Our Pre-school Leader is Sharon Hall who has a NNEB and is experienced with 'Birth to Three Matters'. She is currently studying for her Foundation Degree in Early Years. Her Deputy is Paula Galloway who has a B Tech National Diploma in child care studies, has worked in a day nursery and is a registered child minder. Sharon and Paula are ably assisted by Michelle Perkins and Becky Farrar who are the Pre-school Assistants.
